About Us

The Arcana Ensemble is a dynamic group of classical musicians from one extraordinary family, whose members all graduated from the Royal Academy of Music in London. Highly successful UK-based classical musicians, we have been concertising together since our earliest childhood, throughout the UK, as well as tours in the USA, France and Romania.

The ensemble is flexible, allowing it to take on formations ranging from the string or piano duo to string trio, quartet, or quintet. We also invite guest artists to perform with us on a regular basis. Long years of performance experience have helped us develop rich and varied programmes. We have an extensive repertoire that encompasses the classics of chamber music, as well as rare and unknown jewels, and also may include entertaining arrangements and transcriptions of virtuosic works, or ethnic themes.

Our ensemble began performing for elderly residents of retirement homes in Massachusetts, USA, twenty years ago. Alongside our exciting professional careers as members of major orchestras, concert artists and traditional classical chamber musicians, we remain very committed to our mission of bringing happiness and comfort to elderly audiences. To this end we have designed refreshing and entertaining musical events. These are especially tailored to retirement homes and hospitals, with varied programmes, shorter pieces and direct interaction.
